Pincushion!

one thing i know i'm not
being dramatic about
is my poor little girl
who's allergies have
multiplied since arriving
here in Oklahoma

today we had to take action
it was a long, rough day
spent holding the hand of
my pale, tearful, nauseous,
scared champion of a girl
as she was pricked 65 times
to be exact!

4 hours later we know
she is allergic to 63
of those 65 allergens
she is now on many meds
and shots once a week

it will not be easy
that i know 4 sure
just one more battle
we will eventually conquer

we will be making many
special accommodations
2 her room, bed, and
enviroment, in general

she has been a trooper
i could not wait to get
her out of there, wipe
away her tears and go
to sonic...this time for
ice cream! because ice
cream is the best band-aid
ever made

i love this girl, my heart
broke for her today! it
felt like my newborn getting
shots all over again! just
with a much more swollen nose!

That really SUCKS. I'm sorry she had to do that. It sucks having to watch your baby hurt. Good luck on changing up her room to make her feel better.Might take some time and even stress you out but it will be worth it :0)

so sorry to see tylie go through so much pain - wondering why they put her through it? zack got extensive testing for allergens but it was all done via blood test.

hope she gets to feeling better soon. yes. ice cream does make things better!

Thanks guys! Tylie did do a blood test many months ago, but has not been succesfull in any treatment. They knew her allergies were much more extensive, and this is the next step! She is VERY allergic, and now has to have epipen on hand always! So so sad! :(

My gosh there has got to be a better way! Dave was actually supposed to get this done. He never when back. And I won't be showing him this entry because the will be a deal breaker to me nagging him to get it done. So sad!

I swear there has to be a better way to test than that! It's so sad! Poor girl. Crazy allergies. She's a tough little thing.

We did the same thing to Carter a while back, but the shots were on his back. Ty and Carter are so much alike, it's funny. Oh, and he's allergic to everything under the sun too!

OMH. That poor, sweet girl, I'm so sorry that both of you are going through this. Will they go away when spring is over, or will it be an all year ordeal? I'm wishing you both luck!!!
