Words are not enough

in the last few
weeks as we have
been faced with so
many of life's
tough and very
important decisions

i am trying
to keep my
glass half full

one thing i do
know is it will
never be as full
as my heart
has been

4 it is only
because we have
been surrounded
by life's best
cheerleaders
that we will
eventually win
this game...
of life that is

although i have
a list of so many
who have made this
journey possible,

there are two who
i thank god for
each and every day

most who know me
know it is not
a secret, my mom is
my world! we have
an unbreakable bond,
she has always been
my rock, and my best
friend!

and i hope 2
be like her some
day! anything good
in me...i learned
from my mom!

the man in this
picture, did not
HAVE to be my dad...
he chose to be!

one more testament
of the tender miracles
and real powers
of adoption

this man loved
me as his own
from the beginning
he has been there
EVERY step of the
way

he has always
supported
sustained, and
loved me
even through the
tumultuous teen
years

we may not always
have seen eye to eye
but that never really
mattered because in
the end...i always
knew he had my back

i never questioned
not even 1 time if
he loved me or would
be there for me when
i needed him

he even sat through
3 hour dance reviews
4 me, if that is not
love...i don't know what
is

i am lucky, because
i get to call such
a great man...my dad!

people say i'm brave
for following this path
in life, for traveling so
far, and for taking such
chances

i'm not brave at all
actually...i'm shaking
in my newly purchased boots


just LOVED, extremely blessed,
and comforted because my
parents are only a phone call,
and a short flight away!

thanks for all your support
mom and dad, we could not
have done it without you!
