My Truth

many have asked why i
choose 2 blog this way

i call it rosie style
because back when
rosie o
donnell
had a blog

yes i like her

i loved how real
yet guarded she
was at the same time

as many of you know
i have the gift of
no filter

i call it a gift
because 4 the most part
it has helped me filter
very easily through
the people i did not need
in my life

but sometimes i
will admit
it gets me in trouble
trouble trouble trouble

okay so i digress
i also like 2 randomly
break out into song

so at any moment
if you do not know the song
you just may wonder
especially with the lack of
help with the proper english

you may think im crazy
and that's okay
i pretty much am

my only explanation 4
this is my heart usually
speaks louder than
my mind can

and i also do usually
throw in the
whole red head thing
because it is truth

i am a realist

i accept the fact
that at this point
in my life it is just
easier 2 stay away
from those who
can't handle the truth

because after all
it is my truth


and believe it or not
i respect someone much
more who can be real
right back with me
even if it might sting

i would rather that
than most who
behind my back
think they know
my truth

yet have never
even asked

which 2 me stings
so hard i think
i may be allergic

and so this style
i will carry on

somewhat filtered
yet still very real

a little about our life
but not enough for
those who like 2 misinterpret
my truth 2 fit their misconceptions

i try hard 2 protect
those i love
especially my teenagers
who are already in a very
hard confusing world

and the one safe place they have
is within the walls of our home

so i may not get as deep into
their lives as i have in the past

me and mr. griffin
well i guess we are
grown adults by now
and can handle our own

but that is still up 4 debate

i also despise the grammar correcting nazis
that dwell in the online universe

so like myself
much of this is

un punctuated
not always correct
different
expressive
diverse
very real
yet protected
all at the same time

4 this is my online journal
not the one kept 4 only
those who can some day
handle it

the same ones
who have always
trusted and believed
in me

whether i was
big
or
small

and this my friends
is for the rest
of you who i also adore

my truth

because unlike most blogs
or my facebook page

nothing here is up 4 debate

this will be more of
my life
my feelings
my family
